What is a Dashboard?
A dashboard is a visual display of the most important information needed to achieve one or more objectives, consolidated and arranged on a single screen so the information can be monitored at a glance

Do I need to learn any technology?
All you need to know is how to use a browser and the rest of it is as simple as just selecting and clicking few required options.

What databases or information sources does the Dashboard support?
dMine Dashboards supports all databases supported by JDBC drivers. All major database vendors like Oracle,MS SQL Server, DB2, mySQL, Sybase etc are supported by dMine Dashboard

Where does the data displayed on the Dashboard come from?
The Data is displayed from multiple Base systems which are being used by the organization for capturing and storing the relevant information in the raw format.

Can I schedule a Dashboard to be received in my Email?
dMine Dashboards can be exported into PDF. These PDF Dashboards can be scheduled  to be received on your Email as per your requirement.

What export options are available?
Charts can be exported to PDF, JPG formats.

I have some queries which are parameterized. Can I use these while generating dashlets and dashboards?
Yes Parameterized queries can be written and used while creating dashlets and dashboards and it is rather simple to build and use these parameters

Do I require much of IT intervention for building up the dashlets and dashboards?
IT intervention would only be required for the initial setup of the queries or access to source databases. In case, Business Users are comfortable with writing their own queries (surprisingly, we found many are!)  they can do even this activity without any IT Team's intervention.

Does the Application need to be installed on the Desktops as well as on the Servers?
The Application needs to be setup only on the Server from where it can be accessed with the help of a thin browser from any of the desktops. No setup is required on the desktops to access the dMine.

Can I have the facility to drill down to the next level of data?
Yes the drill down is possible and the system can facilitate multiple drill down levels depending on the Queries which are built up in the system.

Can the data be represented in Graphical and Tabular formats?
Yes the data can be represented in graphical and tabular formats depending on the requirement of the business users.

Can I view the data online from my corresponding base systems?
dMine connects to multiple database or data-sources simultaneously to give you the most recent and online data.

Can I see data from multiple systems or databases in a single chart?
Yes, dMine facilitates visualizing data from multiple datasources in a single chart so as to facilitate comparisons. These can be represented as multiple series charts.

Can I change the type of charts on the fly?
dMine's intuitive User Interface provides options to change the chart types by the business users on the fly just by selecting the type of chart they wish to see.
