dMine Dashboard - Create Data Source

dMine can connect to multiple data sources and collaborate information from these data sources. All standard databases are supported by dMine and the system seamlessly connects to all these data sources simultaneously. As a part of the initial setup activity, Data sources need to be created in the system. This activity is carried out by the Admin team.

Through the Admin module in dMine the Admin team can Create Data sources as well as test these data sources simultaneously. On clicking on the Create New Data Source Option in dMine, the admin user has to input some of the basic details like Data Source name, Type, Host Name, Host Port, Database Name, Schema Name, Username and password. Once these details are input, Admin user can test the connection using the Test Connection Button.

Once the connection is tested it can be saved and used in future for connecting to the Data source as well as for creating Business views.
